Ragazze Quartet vs. Purcell
On Friday 11 September 2026, the Ragazze Quartet, together with soprano Katharine Dain and duduk player Raphaela Danksagmüller, were guests in the studio of Jet’s Friday Show for the item ‘Vrij Spel’ (Free Play), in which presenter Jet Berkhout challenges musicians to breathe new life into a classical piece. They performed Henry Purcell’s ‘Dido’s Lament’ anew from a female perspective in a bossa nova arrangement! You can watch and listen to it again via the link.
September Me
As artistic director of September Me, music festival for explorers and discoverers, we turn Theatre Flint in Amersfoort into the centre of classical music every year on the fourth weekend of September.
September Me 2026 will take place from 24 to 27 September!
Ragazze Quartet in Opium at Oerol
At the invitation of the TV programme Opium at Oerol, the Ragazze Quartet and Sarah Janneh performed this concert, Stand Up, on 16 June 2025. We can’t hear it often enough, so we’re happy to share it with you!
Radio Ragazze
This 5-part podcast series from Radio Ragazze is about the string quartet Four Into Twenty, which Irish-Scottish composer and viola player Garth Knox wrote in 2020, commissioned by the Ragazze Quartet and festival September Me.
