Ragazze Quartet in the media

Last Friday, Ragazze Quartet, together with Katharine Dain (soprano) and Raphaela Danksagmüller (duduk), appeared live on Jet’s Friday Show (Jets Vrijdagshow) on Dutch radio broadcast station NPO Klassiek. They performed an extract from the song Never Belonged by Aftab Darvishi from their new album They Have Waited Long Enough, as well as a bossa nova version of Purcell’s ‘Dido’s Lament’, as part of the regular ‘Vrij Spel’ segment. Jet Berkhout was also the very first person to receive our signed CD, along with our brand-new booklet featuring stories about all the women from the They Have Waited Long Enough cycle. It’s so brand new that the booklet is only now available to order via our online shop, along with our CD, which is due for official release this coming Friday, 18 September!

• NTR Avondconcert zendt het Openingsconcert van Festival September Me live uit op NPO Klassiek. Op donderdag 24 september vanaf 20:00 uur kun je dan luisteren naar ons optreden met Artist in Focus van het festival Ayanna Witter-Johnson, een voordracht van de stadsdichter van Amersfoort én een geheel nieuw arrangement van Lente Me van Toon Hermans, het lijflied van het festival. • NTR Avondconcert (‘Evening Concert’ by NTR Broadcast Company) will be broadcasting the Festival September Me Opening Concert live on Dutch radio broadcast station NPO Klassiek. On Thursday 24 September from 8.00 pm, you can tune in to our performance featuring the festival’s Artist in Focus, Ayanna Witter-Johnson, a recital by Amersfoort’s city poet, and a brand-new arrangement of ‘Lente Me’ by Toon Hermans, the festival’s iconic song.
