Privacy statement and cookie policy

General
This Privacy and Cookie Statement applies to visitors to the website of Ragazze Quartet, www.ragazzequartet.nl. Ragazze Quartet (through the legal entity L’Alleanza delle Ragazze Foundation) processes personal data in the context of the services offered through the website. We also place cookies when you visit our website.

We consider it important to process your personal data carefully and in accordance with the legal requirements imposed on it. In this privacy and cookie regulation, we inform you for which purposes we process personal data and which cookies we place.

Personal data
Ragazze Quartet collects personal data for the purpose of selling CDs, registering friends and registering newsletter and press release readers. In doing so, we take care not to collect more information than necessary.

Collection of data by third parties
Some personal data is collected by third parties. This is the case when purchasing tickets for concerts and events through the venues where Ragazze Quartet performs. Ragazze Quartet does not have access to the personal data collected by these venues. However, Ragazze Quartet does use anonymised visitor information from venues affiliated to Platform Digitaal Informatieplatform Podiumkunsten (DIP). For sending newsletters to friends, subscribers and press contacts, we use the services of EM Cultuur with whom we have a processing agreement.

We have also concluded a processor agreement with the builder and administrator of the website, Sturdy Digital, which guarantees the protection of personal data entered via the website.

Protection of your data
We do not provide personal data to third parties other than for the provision of our services (e.g. your address on an envelope to send a CD via a delivery service) or to comply with a legal obligation. For information on the terms and conditions of our service, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions. We keep personal data for a maximum of seven years after the last transaction with Ragazze Quartet.

Right of inspection
You have the right to inspect, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Ragazze Quartet. Please contact us to request inspection, amendment or withdrawal via our Contact page.

Cookies
Once you visit our website, we place cookies. These are primarily functional information that we need for the websites to function. We also use analytical cookies and marketing or tracking cookies. See below how we use the various types of cookies.

You can use your internet browser to delete cookies automatically or manually. You can also indicate that certain cookies should not be placed. Another option is to adjust your internet browser settings so that you receive a message every time a cookie is placed. For more information on these options, please refer to the instructions in the Help section of your browser.

Please note that our site may not work optimally if all cookies are disabled. If you do delete cookies in your browser, they will be placed again upon a new visit to our site following your consent.

Functional cookies
Functional cookies ensure that our website works properly. Among other things, this is important when placing an order and remembering it for a while. We may place these cookies without your permission.

Analytical cookies
Analytical cookies are used, for instance, to see which pages are visited most, which browser you use and whether you have received any error messages. We use Google Analytics, among others, for this purpose. This allows us to improve our website. We cannot see who visits our websites or from which computer the visit takes place. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google for this purpose. How Google uses data when you visit our site can be found here.

Tracking cookies
We regularly set tracking cookies for the purpose of our marketing. These tracking cookies enable us to test the effectiveness of our online ads, but they also ensure, for example, that if you have visited one or more of our sites you may see advertisements for Ragazze Quartet more often. We advertise via Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads and sporadically via partner websites, among others.

Through Google Analytics, we look at how we reach our audience online. In this way, we can find out anonymously which way of advertising is effective for us, which pages are most popular, which pages do not function well and/or how visitors click through within the website. Google and Meta link information from your IP address to age, gender, region and interests and then link that information anonymously to your visit to our website. We ask permission to set these tracking cookies as soon as you visit our website.

The way Google Analytics processes data can be found here; that of Google Ads can be found here. How Facebook ads work can be found here.

This tool monitors which cookies we place when you visit the website and is therefore always up-to-date. Ragazze Quartet is not responsible or liable for any incorrect information provided through this tool.

When you visit our site for the first time, we show a pop-up explaining cookies. Once you click “Accept”, you give us permission to use all cookies and plugins as described in the pop-up and this Cookie Policy. You can disable all cookies other than functional cookies in this pop-up.
