Evening of Love
Happy love, spurned love, unattainable love, tormented love, smothered love, forbidden love: there is music in it! On this Evening of Love – just before Valentine’s Day – we and various (musical) friends will take you through five centuries of music and show you all the corners of love.
Katharine Dain (soprano) and Sam Armstrong (piano) will perform music from their new, critically acclaimed album Forget this Night. Percussionist Remco Menting – with whom Ragazze has successfully collaborated several times – plays an original lullaby from Ghana together with Ragazze. Poet Tjitske Jansen will provide the evening with the necessary poetry.
