Jeanita gave birth to a daughter

On 7 February, Jeanita Vriens, violinist in the Ragazze Quartet, gave birth to a healthy daughter with the beautiful name Ida. We are extremely happy for her and her family that the delivery went well and that our dear colleague and her baby are doing well. Jeanita will be on maternity leave until early May.

We are very pleased to have found Sarah Kapustin and Ruña ‘t Hart willing to replace Jeanita in the quartet. Sarah will play the programmes ‘Lamento’ and ‘They Have Waited Long Enough’ with us this spring. Ruña will play the programme ‘But Not My Soul’ and will collaborate on recordings of a new work by Kate Moore (more about this later).
