An immersive journey of catchy beats, surreal soundscapes and spoken word with Nynke Laverman

After slowly releasing her album Plant in 2021, Nynke Laverman’s music will branch out and form a new partnership with Ragazze in the Plant Bloom Sessions.

During the preview at Wonderfeel and the premiere of the Plant Bloom Sessions on September Me Nnynke Laverman will share the stage with sound artist Sytze Wigsma and Ragazze Quartet.

The show with a vibrant live set of extended versions of the Plant songs is one big trip, a cocktail of infectious beats, compelling strings, surreal soundscapes and spoken word.

Nynke’s inspired voice, ‘a leaf-blown shimmer of a voice’ according to The Independent, draws you into a new wonderful world with every song. The passionate strings of Ragazze Quartet spin a sizzling web of sounds and the characteristic drums and synths in combination with bird beats built from bird sounds regularly put you in the middle of the woods or on the Wad.

Plant Bloom Sessions is a journey that will appeal to anyone with a melancholic-adventurous nature and fans of Radiohead, Nils Frahm and Kae Tempest, among others.
