The preparations for our upcoming performance Normality No More | Winterreise revisited, are in full swing. Together with dance company Conny Janssen Danst and theatre company Via Berlin, we are working hard on this production which will be an ode to the neurodivergent brain.

Normality no More is a powerful fusion of music theatre, modern dance and classical music. A classical music bestseller, Schubert’s Winterreise, will be completely stripped down and reshaped into a mix of uplifting rhythms, extended drone melodies, alienating sound fields and pulsating electro-pop, performed by strings, percussion and vocals.

Rosa Arnold (Ragazze Quartet) on Normality No More | Winterreise revisited: “With this performance, we want to show the beauty of the abnormal. We have created a completely new version of Schubert’s Winterreise, in which we bring this classical piece of music to the present, shake it up and turn it upside down so much that it will only be recognisable at times.”
