This was September Me Festival 2025

After four festival days, 25 different concerts and performances (including three dinner concerts, six performances of the (under)water opera “Water works”, three family programmes, three premieres and more) at six locations, we concluded the ninth edition of the September Me festival on a high note on 28 September 2025.
We opened the festival together with Artist in Focus Renaud Garcia-Fons, who received much admiration. This year, soprano Sterre Konijn sang the song “Lente Me”, with which we traditionally open the festival and during the closing concert Little Blue Something, no fewer than 32 musicians took to the stage! This concert was recorded by Broadcast Company NTR and can be listened to in its entirety via Evening Concert 28 September 2025.

As after previous editions, a visitor survey was sent out to ask what our audience thought of the festival and whether there were any areas for improvement. To our great delight, not only was the response to our survey very high, but we also received largely positive feedback. Our audience gave us a score of no less than 8.8 out of 10 for the festival!
Visitors also expressed their appreciation for the diverse and experimental programme, the atmosphere and the location(s). Among the highlights they mentioned were the opening concert with Renaud Garcia-Fons, Strandbeest Zingt by Calefax, the première of Charlotte Salomon and Memories of Trees.
We are equally grateful for the tips and suggestions shared by our visitors.
We sincerely hope to see you again next year!
