10 years Composer of The Netherlands

On Sunday 21 December, we will end the year with a festive finale: we will perform pieces by the five Composers of the Netherlands who have been featured so far. This will take place in Cloud Nine at TivoliVredenburg. During this memorable afternoon, we will celebrate ten years of Composer of The Netherlands. Especially for this occasion, you will hear and see all the Composers of the Netherlands (and the Children’s Composers!) of the past decade on stage.

Willem Jeths, Mayke Nas, Calliope Tsoupaki, Martin Fondse and Anne-Maartje Lemereis reflect on the past ten years, on their experience as Composer of the Netherlands, and together they look ahead to the future. The icing on the cake will be the festive unveiling of the new Composer of the Netherlands, who will take over the honourable title from Anne-Maartje.
