The witty and chilling opera The World’s Wife is based on the famous collection of poems by Carol Ann Duffy. Women from history, from myths and stories, come to life in this collection of poems as the layered, profound women that they are. In the opera The World’s Wife by composer Tom Green, ten of them are given a voice. But who are they actually?
